ABDM compliant hospital software, M1, M2 & M3 done
Create or verify ABHA at registration, let patients register by scanning a QR code, link every record to their ABHA and read their past records with consent, from inside the software your staff already use. No extra portal, no extra login.
What M1, M2 and M3 mean for your hospital
M1 · ABHA at registration
Create a new ABHA number or verify an existing one while registering the patient, and keep it in their Cloud Health record.
- Create ABHA with Aadhaar OTP
- Verify 4 ways, or find by mobile
- Scan & Share registration
- ABHA card download
M2 · Share your records
Visits, prescriptions, reports and discharge summaries you create are linked to the patient's ABHA, so they can see them in their health app.
- Link one record or a whole history
- Patient-side linking with OTP
- SMS when records are ready
- Encrypted sharing on consent
M3 · See past records
With the patient's consent, request and view records from other hospitals and labs, right inside Cloud Health.
- Consent request with purpose and dates
- Status from requested to granted
- Records from other facilities
- Opened as readable documents
Every ABDM flow, built into your daily screens
From creating a patient's ABHA at the front desk to reading their records from another hospital, here is how each milestone works in Cloud Health.
Create a new ABHA at the front desk
A short guided wizard: take the patient's consent, verify Aadhaar and mobile by OTP, pick an ABHA address, and the ABHA card is ready to download.
- Consent declaration collected first, as ABDM requires
- Aadhaar OTP authentication, then mobile verification
- Pick a suggested ABHA address or type your own
- ABHA card to download, saved with the patient's record
Patient already has an ABHA? Verify and link it
Verify the ABHA four ways, or find it from the mobile number. The profile is fetched and matched to the patient in Cloud Health.
- Verify by Aadhaar OTP, mobile OTP, ABHA number or ABHA address
- Find every ABHA linked to a mobile number
- Name, gender, birth date and mobile matched with your patient record
- One ABHA can never be linked to two different patients
Scan & Share: registration without a form
Put your facility's QR code at the front desk. The patient scans it with their ABHA app and shares their profile. The front desk sees it at once.
- Profile arrives with name, ABHA, age, gender and mobile
- Existing patient found by ABHA or mobile, or registered as new
- A token number goes back to the patient's ABHA app
- Every scan kept in the ABDM log
Link the records you create to the ABHA
Each OPD visit, prescription, lab report or discharge becomes a record linked to the patient's ABHA. The patient can see it in their health app.
- Link one record or a whole visit history in one go
- Patients can also find and link their records from their ABHA app, confirmed by OTP
- SMS to the patient when new records are ready to link
- Already-linked records are never sent twice
Ask the patient for their past records
Your doctor raises a consent request from Cloud Health. The patient sees it in their ABHA app and approves. Nothing is fetched without that approval.
- Purpose of the request, as ABDM defines it
- Choose the record types and the date range
- Expiry date, after which access ends
- Status followed from requested to granted
Read records from other hospitals, inside Cloud Health
Once consent is granted, the records arrive and are opened as readable documents, not raw files. The doctor sees the history before writing the prescription.
- Records from other hospitals and labs, by date and type
- Each record shown as a readable page
- All eight ABDM record types supported
One ABDM dashboard for everything
Find, create or verify an ABHA from one place, and see every linked patient, consent and data request with its status.
- Find ABHA, create ABHA and verify ABHA buttons
- Patients with their ABHA number and address
- Consent requests with purpose, record types and status
- Activity log and change log for audits
Ready for India's digital health future
More patients now carry an ABHA number. With Cloud Health, your hospital is ready for them, without changing how your staff work.
No extra software
ABDM works inside the same registration and visit screens.
Consent first, encrypted
Nothing is shared without the patient's approval, and what is shared is encrypted and logged.
All 8 FHIR record types
OP consult, prescription, diagnostic report, discharge summary, immunization, wellness, health document and invoice.
Digital Health Incentive Scheme
NHA's DHIS rewards facilities using ABDM-enabled software, as per NHA rules.
What is ABDM?
The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) is the Government of India's programme, run by the National Health Authority (NHA), to give every citizen a digital health ID (ABHA) and let their health records move safely between hospitals, with their consent.
What do M1, M2 and M3 mean?
They are the three ABDM milestones for software. M1: create and verify ABHA numbers. M2: link the records your hospital creates to the patient's ABHA (health information provider). M3: with the patient's consent, request and view their records from other facilities (health information user). Cloud Health has completed all three.
Is Cloud Health certified by NHA?
Yes. Cloud Health is certified by NHA for ABDM integration and is FHIR ready.
Do we need separate software for ABDM?
No. ABHA creation, record linking and consent requests are done from inside Cloud Health, on the same screens your staff use for registration and visits.
What does a patient need to get an ABHA?
To create a new ABHA, the patient's Aadhaar number and a mobile number for the OTPs. If they already have one, it can be verified with Aadhaar OTP, mobile OTP, the ABHA number or the ABHA address, or found from their mobile number.
Can patients register by scanning a QR code?
Yes. With Scan & Share, the patient scans your facility's QR code in their ABHA app and shares their profile. Cloud Health finds the existing patient by ABHA or mobile, or registers them as new, and the app shows the patient a token number.
Which health records can be shared through ABDM?
All eight ABDM record types: OP consultation, prescription, diagnostic report, discharge summary, immunization record, wellness record, health document and invoice, in the FHIR format ABDM uses.
Is the patient's data safe?
Records are shared only after the patient approves the request in their ABHA app, and only the record types and dates they approved. The data is encrypted before it leaves your server, and every consent and transfer is logged.
Can ABDM help our hospital get incentives?
The National Health Authority runs the Digital Health Incentive Scheme (DHIS) for facilities that use ABDM-enabled software. Eligibility and amounts are decided by NHA's rules; we can guide you during the demo.
